I just find the “old” front page easier to navigate through, and I really like having the news articles off to the right. On the old page, one was able to see at a quick glance who the last poster to a topic was, and for whatever reason, I like it like that.

Again, for what it’s worth here’s my input.

I like it the concept.  I think the box to the left is too bid.  I would make it ‘thinner’ and make the stuff on the right wider.  I would also change the box on the left so that ‘news’ comes up automatically, not ‘stats/news’. 

I’m glad you left the colors alone because I always liked those. 

Bottom line, I voted indifferent for the above stated reasons.
